When sitting in silence, our intuition leads the way, and intuition will never let us down.
I learned something sacred today from a dear friend of mine, a lovely vocalist, and an earth angel. I just arrived home from teaching a week-long yoga/meditation workshop, and came back with a sore throat, and a raspy, barely audible voice. Ironically, I spent seven full days speaking on the sacredness of silence, and now the universe was gently stepping in and allowing me to practice what I preach.
My friend kindly advised that when speaking to myself and others about what I called, “my lost voice”, to simply say, “I’m on vocal rest”, and that if there was any pain associated in the throat, to check in with myself to see if there were angry words that needed to be acknowledged or released.
I told her that I can honestly say at this point in my life, I’m in full alignment with my emotions; everything I was thinking and feeling had been released, but that indeed, I too was in need of silence.
If the universe had a voice it would say, “darling, now it’s your turn. You can now rest and sit quietly knowing that love is reaching, and even in silence you can touch the hearts of many.”
There is true sacredness in the quiet of the still, and with that said, I’ll now sit and allow myself some silence. 😌
Thank you @audioangel for blessing me with your wisdom & divine light. 🙏❤
